Salary: $15,489 to $17,428.20 Annually             Salary is based on education & experience

Job Description: Performs beginning level work providing habilitation training and homemaking to clients with intellectual & developmental disabilities. Position will assist IDD clients in home based and community settings. Position will implement training service objectives and assess client’s needs and strengths and provide transportation within the community. MUST have reliable transportation, and a good driving record. Good documentation skills required. This position must comply with CMS’s Omnibus COVID-19 Health Care Staff Vaccination rules published in the Federal Register on November 5, 2021. COVID-19 vaccine immunization is required and must be completed prior to hiring.
Education: Requires High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Working with consumers with IDD; but will try right candidate.
Hours of Work: 8:00am—5:00pm; Monday through Friday; hours vary, must be flexible
Licenses/Certifications: Current TX driver’s license and be insurable by Agency vehicle.
Physical Requirements:  Ability to stand, walk, sight, hearing; ability to talk, ability to lift; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
