/Salary: $74,932 to $84,288 Annually LPC-A: $56,427 to $61,659 Annually

Job Description: This position serves as Team Leader and first line supervision to clinical and non-clinical staff within the designated mental health team in overseeing the daily operations of case management and crisis services within the team, ensuring clients are served effectively and efficiently, and in accordance with the agency policies and procedures and Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) rules and laws. Position supervises the substance use disorder services as well, which includes outpatient substance use disorder care. Position will oversee provision of diagnosis, screenings, assessments, referrals, outpatient linkages, individual and group counseling, psychoeducational groups, and case management for adults with substance use disorders in the Brazos Valley. This position also provides daytime (M-F, 8-5) emergency services/response, information, referral and intake services, as well as diagnostician services to both adults and children in Brazos County who have behavioral health disorders to determine if individuals meet HHS eligibility criteria for ongoing MH services. Additionally, this position provides cognitive behavioral therapy to individuals meeting criteria for these services. Staff shall serve as Supervisor On Call on a rotational basis, being available for consultation to MCOT staff, ensuring crisis coverage and approving contract psychiatric bed utilization.
Education: Master’s Degree and licensed as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW; LCDC preferred, LPC-A acceptable with appropriate experience.
Experience: Should have considerable experience, knowledge and training in the area of severe mental illness as well as substance use disorder care.
Hours of Work: Generally Monday—Friday; 8am-5pm, adjustment in work hours may be warranted to meet the needs of the program. Serves as Supervisor on call for crisis supervision after hours, on a rotational basis.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid Texas driver’s license & must be insurable by Agency’s insurance.
Physical Requirements: Light lifting under 15lbs., moderate carrying 15-44lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, operating motor vehicle, operating motor vehicle, operating office equipment, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write, and count, ability to maintain confidentiality, and the ability to work closely with others.
