Job Description: Serves as the residential facility manager and Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP), performing supervision of the day-to-day operations of an eight-bed Intermediate Care Facility for persons with an intellectual disability (ICF-ID). The QIDP is directly accountable for the assessment, development, implementation,  and monitoring of an individualized Individual Habilitation Plan (IHP) provides habilitation management services necessary to ensure an individual’s progress towards goals set for them through the person directed planning process, and the outcomes specifically identified in the individual’s service plan are measured and considered in the development of the individual’s subsequent plan, including review and documenting individual’s progress in meeting outcomes, ensures completion of comprehensive functional assessment, and ensures each individual receives necessary services and interventions to promote optimum quality of life.  Responsibilities also involves providing and/or ensuring training, guidance, support and management to direct support professionals working in the ICF-ID residential facility, ensuring the delivery of active treatment to individuals in services and the development of individual programs and activities  are  in compliance with the HHSC State and Federal ICF-ID Rules and Regulations for Evidentiary Certification.    Education:  Require at least Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, social work or related human services field. Experience:  At least one year of previous experience working directly with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities required. At least one experience in direct supervision or management of personnel is preferred.  Hours of Work:  8 am - 5 pm Monday – Friday, generally. At times may need to have a flexible schedule to accommodate needs of program and families. Licenses/Certifications: Must meet Federal and State conditions and standards to preform work as a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP); valid Texas driver’s license and insurable by Agency insurance. Physical Requirements:  Light lifting under 15 lbs., moderate carrying 15-44 lbs., simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating a motor vehicle, operating office equipment including a computer, ability to see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write and count, ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to work closely with others.
