Salary: $47,166 to $51,679                                   Salary is based on education & experience

Job Description:  Medication Clinic provides psychiatric services to adults with severe mental illness and youth with emotional disturbance, adhering to recovery-oriented, trauma focused philosophy of care. This position provides nursing services within an outpatient clinic in accordance with scope of practice in support of clinical staff, using the principles of trauma informed care for individuals with mental illness in the Brazos Valley. Nursing staff support prescribing providers, monitor quality of psychiatric services provided, and ensure continuity of care.

Education: Requires Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

Experience: Should have experience in nursing related work. Prefer experience in behavioral healthcare.

Hours of Work:  8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday (adjustment in work hours may be warranted to meet the needs of the program.) 

Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Vocational Nurse with current Texas licensure. Valid Texas driver's license and must be insurable by Agency insurance.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds; to communicate effectively in writing and orally; sight; hearing; ability to drive a car; access to a personal, reliable vehicle.

Facility: 804 S Texas Ave, Travel within 7 county service area required.
