Salary: $30,001 to $33,828 Salary is based on education & experience

Job Description: To provide direct care to individuals receiving services through Developmental Services at Life Choices Center and to provide assistance to the Unit Director in the oversight of the day program. The Therapist Technician II is responsible for assisting the Unit Director by monitoring the documentation of the programs for each person attending and assisting the direct care staff with day-to-day issues that may arise in Unit Director’s absence. Will report directly to the Unit Director.
Education: Requires High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Prefer experience working with persons with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Hours of Work: Monday—Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Licenses/Certifications: Current Texas Driver’s License and is insurable by Agency insurance.
Physical Requirements: Light carrying under 30lbs., sight, hear (with aid), simple grasping, walking, sitting, standing, operating motor vehicle, operate office equipment, ability to read, write, count, ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position, ability to maintain confidentiality and ability to work closely with others.
