Salary: $32,612.63 to $36,069.94 Annually Salary is based on education & experience

Job Description: Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse provide high quality care to persons with mental illness. Responsible for assessing and recording patient vital signs, updating patient records, completing health screening forms, instructing patients in the proper use of medications; preparing and administer medication; also responsible for telephone drug orders and refills to pharmacies, and other duties as assigned and delegated by the supervising nurse or physician.
Education: Require minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Prefer experience working with persons with mental illness.
Licenses/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); Valid Texas driver’s license and must be insurable by Agency insurance;
Hours of Work: 8:00am--5:00pm; Monday through Friday
Physical Requirements: Sight, hearing, ability to walk, ability to talk, ability to lift up to 50lbs., ability to communicate effectively; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
