 Job Description:  IDD Provider Services Program Specialist II is responsible to provide day-to-day supervision and contract performance of the Center’s HCS and TxHmL Medicaid Waiver Provider services programs.  Responsible for staff supervision and monitoring staff performance; reviews and monitors services and contract requirements as performed by provider services team and contractors; gathers data, reports, and perform audits on program performance for required documentation and productivity and to improve service delivery models and increase utilization of services to better meet individuals’ nee, oversight of program financials, and other quality assurance measures; Responsibilities include negotiate waiver contracts and monitor compliance and programmatic service delivery; coordinate and supervise implementation of internal services; provide monitoring and training in the performance of duties to staff working within the programs; Monitor monthly and annual expenses for programs and services.
Education: Requires a bachelor’s degree or advanced degree from an accredited college or university with a major in behavioral, social, or human service field, including but not limited to psychology, social work, medicine, nursing, rehabilitation, counseling, sociology, human development, gerontology, educational psychology, education, and criminal justice and general knowledge of HCS and TxHmL program requirements is required;
Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience as IDD Service Coordinator or HCS or TxHmL Case Manager; at least one year supervisor experience is preferred; must be able to work independently as well as with a team. Must be computer literate, requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, requires excellent organization skills, including the ability to meet rigid timelines and manage multiple priorities.  Good organizational and time management skills are a must.  General knowledge of IDD, social service network; knowledge of Medicaid waiver program services; skill in determining individual needs assessment and the ability to respond to changes required; ability to comprehend and implement program goals.
Hours of Work:  8:00am—5:00pm Monday through Friday; may require after-hours flexibility to meet the needs of the person in service/program.
Licenses/Certification: Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and must be insurable by Agency insurance; Must successfully complete Agency, HHSC, and TAC required programmatic training within allotted timelines as applicable. 
Physical Requirements: Ability to drive a vehicle; must have reliable transportation and a good driving record; Lifting up to 30lbs, walking, sitting, standing, operating a motor vehicle, operating office equipment including a computer, ability to talk, see and hear (with aid), ability to read, write and count, ability to maintain confidentiality, ability to work closely with others.

Job Description: To provide crisis prevention and management, monitoring, assessment, rehabilitative skills training, service planning and coordination for adults with mental illness. Psychosocial Rehabilitative Services are defined as social, educational, vocational, behavioral, and cognitive interventions provided by members of a client’s therapeutic team that address deficits in the individual’s ability to develop and maintain social relationships, occupational or educational achievement, independent living skills, and housing, that are a result of a severe and persistent mental illness. Service coordination involves accessing medical, social, educational and other appropriate services that will help an individual achieve a quality of life and community participation acceptable to the individual.
Education: Requires Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral, social sciences, humanities, or education field.
Experience:  Requires experience working with individuals with mental illness, must be able to work independently as well as with a team. Good organizational skills are a must.
Hours of Work: Generally, Monday—Friday 8am-5pm; adjustments in work hours warranted to meet the needs of the program. Crisis on Call work required as agency need dictates.
Licenses/Certifications:
Ability to be credentialed as Qualified Mental Health Professional. Valid driver’s license and are insurable by agency insurance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of Adult Needs and Strengths Assessment (ANSA) certification as well as Illness, Management and Recovery (IMR) certification.

Job Description: Performs responsible administrative nursing and professional nursing duties within the RN legal scope of practice. Direct and coordinate nursing activities in the Intermediate Care Facility for persons with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-ID), Texas Home Living (TxHmL) and Home and Community-based Services (HCS) Waiver Programs. RN is responsible for an awareness of client conditions and problems and for maintaining an acceptable level of nursing care within all the programs; Serves as responsible person in delivery of medical services and nursing evaluations including comprehensive nursing assessments; Monitor the delivery of medical related needs training, medications, and side effects to ensure quality of services is delivered in a timely manner; Coordinate with other team members when medical issues arise and implement needed changes; Instructs, evaluates, and performs delegation of nursing duties to unlicensed assistive personnel and will provide clinical supervision/oversight of LVN staff in accordance with professional, legal, and ethical nursing standards of MHMRABV’s policy and procedures and State law; May participate in service planning team meetings; Completes the required documentation as outlined with the policy and procedures of MHMRABV and the Texas HHSC IDD Services ICF-ID and TxHmL and HCS waiver programs and guidelines. Licensure/Certifications: Licensed in the State of Texas to practice as a Registered Nurse, as governed by the Texas Board of Nursing.
