Open Until Filled Salary: $37,488 to $40,435 Annually Salary based on education & experience

Job Description: To perform skilled maintenance & repair work in electrical, plumbing, mechanical maintenance of agency’s facilities & equipment. To regularly inspect the condition of the agency’s building & facilities and to respond to calls for maintenance service. To provide building & vehicle maintenance for the day-to-day operations of facilities which includes construction & daily maintenance; purchasing all materials competitively to achieve this function; vehicle fleet support services which includes operation of a vehicle fleet to meet all needs including maintenance & repairs on competitive basis; compliance with MHMRABV Facilities and Vehicle standards over a seven county area. Local travel to the seven counties required, company vehicle provided. Must be able to manage & accomplish multi-tasks as well as work independently and able to assume responsibilities of the Facilities/Vehicle Manager during absences.
Education: Requires High School Diploma or GED.
Experience: Requires experience working building & vehicle maintenance. Prefer but not mandatory bilingual in English/Spanish.
Hours of Work: 7am-4pm; M-F; adjustment in workdays & hours may be warranted to meet needs of the program.
Licensure/Certifications: Valid Texas driver’s license and are insurable by agency insurance. Physical Requirements: Ability to drive a vehicle; communicate effectively both verbally & written; ability to push, pull, bend, kneel, reach above shoulders, climb ladder, and carry up to 100 pounds; ability to pass the Preventative Management of Aggressive Behavior (PMAB) Training as well as all other physical requirements for this position.
